Karen Connolly (born 1963, Cincinnati, Ohio) is a sculptor using fused glass and mixed media. Connolly is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, School of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning. She discovered her love for fused glass in 2008 after experimenting with and exploring several other facets of glass including stained glass and mosaics. In 2019, she began to add 3D elements to her work through metal and other materials. Connolly makes her living in the professional world focused on collateral risk within the housing industry. Connolly lives in Hamilton, Ohio with her husband of 33 years and their two English springer spaniels.
